Our summer campaign—our first in so many moons, can you believe it?—was truly a joyful experience and success-not just in the funds we raised, but also in the bonds we’ve woven.  Thank you, thank you for your gifts are a sacred exchange that nourishes our community.

In this moment in our collective life, we find ourselves standing at a crossroads of profound grief and fierce commitment to spiritual transformation. As we bear witness to the inhumanity of empire, the impending national election, and the harrowing reality of climate collapse, we are also witnessing the emergence of a guiding light—one carried by the spiritual organizing work of Black, Indigenous, heritage Buddhists, and people of color   and by our trans, nonbinary, and two-spirit kin. Their voices, including ours, are  leading us on the path toward a future where liberation, repair, and spirituality drive our movement.

It is from this place of deep witnessing that we offer our gratitude to you. Your support is not just a contribution; it is an act of bearing witness with us, of holding the complexity of this moment. It is through this exchange that we find the strength to continue our work of justice and spiritual fortification.

AT BPF, we’ve always believed that relationships are the heart and soul of our work. Every donation, every message, every gesture of support—these are not simply transactions; they are threads in the vast tapestry we are weaving together. Through your generosity, we’ve seen how relational care becomes a living practice, reminding us that the essence of growth lies in how we are able to resource one another. Throughout this campaign, we’ve seen firsthand that how we share resources and connect with one another is just as meaningful as the resources themselves. Relational care is about choosing to give from a place of love, truth, and what we hold most dear; it’s a spiritual practice that embodies our values of interconnectedness, compassion, and collective care.

In offering our thanks, we honor the sacred act of relational giving that you have participated in. This giving is not simply about resources; it is about nurturing the threads that bind us, the mutual support that fortifies us. It is about bearing witness to each other's struggles, dreams, and aspirations, and recognizing that in doing so, we are weaving a world where repair and justice are possible, in our lifetimes.

Thank you for being part of this fluid bloom, for holding and being held alongside us.

In solidarity y con paz,

Daní Padilla,Co-director, Resource Mobilization
