Reminder, March 15 Deadline: "Stolen Land, Stolen Culture, Stolen Time"

Reminder, everyone!  The System Stinks conversation is on a roll as we begin to think more structurally about peace and conflict, studying some of the Lies That Build Empire.  But we're just getting started.  Next up, we'll be taking a systemic look at theft.  (The image above, from a "modern and sophisticated" jewelry line, gives just one example of cultural commodification that can happen when all things Indo-Buddhist become "cool.")By March 15th, send in your engaged Buddhist essays, poems, visual art, videos, and more on "Stolen Land, Stolen Culture, Stolen Time" to [box type="info" color="#ff0066" bg="#003300" font="palatino" fontsize="20" radius="40" border="#999999"]submissions [at] turningwheelmedia [dot] org[/box]We'll choose media to feature throughout the month of April, and then we'll select some of those works to include in Volume II of the Study Guide, along with classic texts, practices, study questions and more, available to Buddhist Peace Fellowship members participating in The System Stinks. For those who have submitted in the past, thank you so much for your patience and for bearing with us as we figure out the processes for accepting submissions.  We are trying to be better about getting back to everyone in a timely way, but if you don't hear from us, please don't be discouraged, and maybe ping us again to ask what's going on with your piece.Thank you!  Can't wait to see / read / hear your contributions!
