May All Beings... Social Justice Portraits from Buddhist Leaders

When Buddhist Peace Fellowship went to the White House earlier this year, Co-Director Katie Loncke and Board Member Sierra Pickett gave a presentation and, outside the conference, brought hand-painted Buddhist social justice banners. But that's not all. Also separate from the conference (a little bonus activity, if you will), we brought materials for a little DIO (Do It Ourselves) portrait project. We asked participants at the first U.S. Buddhist Delegation to the White House to fill-in-the-blank on one of three portrait cards.
