DSL Saint Louis | Co-Director, Operations

DSL [dee]-[zl] Saint Louis (they/them), a Black queer non-binary parent of Haitian/Canadian descent, builds at the intersection of regenerative healing, resource redistribution and embodied engineering. Having rooted and received ordination into the Order of Interbeing in the Tiep Hein Vietnamese Zen Tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, DSL is thrilled to be part of the continuation of leaderful engaged Buddhism seeded by Buddhist Peace Fellowship (BPF) on Turtle Island. DSL contributes strategic operations and project management skills to facilitate collaborative efforts that embody ease and alignment with BPF’s values. DSL has trained in Indigenous Focusing Oriented Therapy, Social Presencing Theater, and as a meditation teacher. DSL previously served as Executive Director of the Brooklyn Zen Center from 2015 to 2019. Learn more about DSL’s work here.
